Oscar Zanetti and his son Lucio founded the Zanetti hand crafted glass kiln in 1956. This workshop gained world recognition thanks to the high quality of pieces completed by master craftsman Lucio Zanetti in a short period of time. In 1989, Lucio Zanetti left his glass kiln and studio to his son Oscar who was trained by his father at the studio since he was a teenager. Oscar has learned the techniques from his father and is now the owner of one of the most revered glass kilns in Murano.
