LINO SABATTINI

He was born in 1925 in Careggio, Italy. He was a self-taught master of his art and one of the most silversmiths of the 20th century. His revered designs are mainly silver-plated vases candleholders, kettles and other home accessories. He was one of the first people to use silver in designing modern items. His work are fresh, subtle and novel. Many art enthusiasts compete to acquire his work in auctions to date.
